"Melanie and I only had one in person meeting. We lived several states away but when we met I knew she had to be the one. From her bubbly personality, to our vision, timelines and attention to detail, she had to be the one. We had so many FaceTime calls with a plan each week to review what we needed to cover, this annoyed my now Husband (who was only on a few important ones) but I wouldn’t change a single part about it. The more communication we had the better the planning was, the calls were so easy, helpful and and every one was important.
We got married at Rockwood Lodge which is a beautiful blank slate but everything you needed to make a wedding happen there needed to come from outside vendors, in a busy wedding town, during covid times, with weddings pushed back and vendors booked out. But she made it happen!! And more seamlessly than I could have ever imagined. I know because I tried to start planning by myself and the emails and declines and price comparisons was all incredibly overwhelming (and I’m a planner). Melanie helped to source the most incredible wedding vendors and I cannot thank every single one of them enough. Each of our vendors came up to us and told us how wonderful our wedding planner had been to work with throughout the process and that’s an incredible achievement and well deserved! We had weather delays, we had wardrobe malfunctions, we had cell service challenges. Melanie and her team, resolved everything that came up in a timely and professional fashion. Melanie listened, truly listened to everything that I wanted. She made it happen and I’m forever grateful that she was a part of my favorite day ever. "The first annual Cru Gala was nothing short of incredible. Melanie left no stone unturned and delivered a night that exceeded what anyone thought a $50 formal ticket could cover in a major city like Philadelphia. The only problem I see is the future price Cru will have to hire Melanie at - the only way we'd be able to afford her kind of expertise and attention to detail is if she offers pro-bono planning! I would recommend Melanie's services to companies big and small, events simple and complex, with any price point. "My husband and I asked Melanie to coordinate our wedding in August 2015. Looking back, I do not know what we would have done without her. I asked her to come onboard after I had carefully planned a lot of the design details, but realized that I had no idea how to orchestrate everyone during the ceremony.
